Our bread and baked goods are made by hand. Start to finish. No shortcuts. Even if it means we bring a few less loaves to the market in any given week. Customers have responded to that philosophy and for that we are grateful.

We continually enjoy meeting customers and hearing their stories; meeting the farmers who work diligently to provide what we like to call a “clean meal”—without chemicals, pesticides, added growth hormones. It’s food—pure and simple. And we appreciate everyone who is interested in that endeavor.

We hope this site will be a place where readers can not only learn more about what The Rolling Pen takes to the market, but offers an occasional story from our table, and others, including the artisans and farmers who work so hard to make their local farmers’ markets and communities shine.
